China Disappointed by Organic Sales

"Middle-class residents of big cities like Shanghai and Beijing are the group most likely to buy organic food, but many have expressed frustration over the higher prices. Nationwide, organics consumers account for no more than 3 percent of China’s total population, according to the Nanjing-based Organic Food Development Center (OFDC), a subdivision of the State Environmental Protection Administration (SEPA)."
