The Restaurant with a Conscience

"Pizza Fusion (www.pizzafusion.com), the leader in the organic restaurant industry and a better quality of life, recently purchased 9,783 kWh worth of renewable energy certificates to offset 100% of the company's electricity consumption in their corporate office and stores. The renewable energy certificates were purchased from San Francisco-based 3 Phases Energy (www.3phases.com), a renewable energy supplier, and is derived from a number of clean energy sources around the U.S., including solar, wind, water, natural gas and methane based power resources.

"We're extremely passionate about minimizing our eco-footprint with environmentally friendly efforts in all our operations," Vaughan Lazar, co-founder of Pizza Fusion, explains. "Our environmental approach continues to evolve as we discover new ways to reduce our impact on the environment. We're very proud to partner with 3 Phases Energy to support the production of renewable energy while counteracting our dependence on electricity."
