I just received a newsletter from my favorite brand Amy's. (I always look forward to these!) Here's an excerpt:
"Coming this summer you will find 3 new soups from Amy’s on the shelves of your local store (Summer Corn & Vegetable Soup, Curried Lentil and Southwestern Black Bean Chili). We’ve also made a Light in Sodium version of your favorite Pasta Sauce, Tomato Basil.
If you loved the Chicago Burger and haven’t been able to find it, have no fear, we’ve simply renamed it. The Cheddar Veggie Burger is the same great burger with a new name.
We’ve also made it easier and tastier to find the Samosa Wrap. The Samosa Wrap has been reformulated and is now available in a single serve wrapper and located next to our burritos and Spinach Tofu Wrap. We think you’ll love the new recipe!"
I'm always really happy whenever they come up with something new. I always make sure I try it. I'm loving their vegan vegetable pot pies lately and the tofu scramble.
In other Amy's news, the brand will be featured on several different television shows over the next couple of weeks:
"We recently mentioned that Amy’s will be featured in some upcoming television shows. Since a couple of those shows will be airing shortly, we wanted to let you know so that you could tune-in.
Next week, "Big Ideas for a Small Planet" will be airing on the Sundance Channel Tuesday April 29, 2008 at 9pm (Eastern & Pacific).
Two shows on the Food Network will also showcase Amy's. "Unwrapped" will air their episode entitled, "Can it" on June 2 at 9pm (E/P) where they show everything about Amy's chili. Then, on June 16 at 9pm (E/P), "Unwrapped-Cozy Cuisine" will highlight our ultimate comfort food, Macaroni & Cheese. Premiering in May, The Discovery Channel will feature our Kids Meals on their new show, “Make it”.
AND, if you happen to live in the San Francisco Bay area, the local CBS station has a great show, "Eye on the Bay". We'll have the airdate soon!"
