Iowa Parents Want Organics in Schools

"IOWA CITY, Iowa -- A push is on for organic school lunches in Iowa City.

Nearly 300 parents have signed a petition asking the school district to use more fresh, locally grown and organic ingredients.

Food service coordinators said efforts are under way to buy more locally grown food, but serving organic increases costs, making it almost impossible."
