Vitasoy Appoints New CEO

"AYER, Mass., April 28 /PRNewswire/ -- In a major move celebrating the launch of its 30th anniversary year, Vitasoy USA, one of America's leading soyfoods innovators, promoted General Manager Walter M. Riglian to Chief Executive Officer. The announcement was made by Larry Eisentrager, Group CEO, Vitasoy International Holdings Limited.

Riglian, a 34-year veteran of the U.S. food industry, previously served as Vitasoy's General Manager (2006-2008) and Vice-President of Sales (2005-2006). Before coming to Vitasoy, he held posts with Procter & Gamble, Frito-Lay (PepsiCo), Kraft General Foods and Stonyfield Farm, the world's leading organic yogurt company.

"He has led the drive to expand distribution and penetration of new products, and to redefine sales and marketing strategies for new and existing business channels and categories, both key actions for the company."
