Organic Growers Alter Produce Plan

"Many Del Norters may be familiar with Ocean Air Farm’s community supported agriculture (CSA) boxes that are filled each week from June to October with fresh organic produce grown in Fort Dick.
Others might only know the farm’s produce from the farmers markets in Crescent City and Brookings.

Paul Madeira and Julie Jo Ayer Williams, the farmers at Ocean Air Farms, are trying out something new this year that melds the CSA program and the farmers markets.

“For us, it’s about giving the customer as many choices as we can,” Madeira said, “while still making the connection between the farm and people.”"
