Food recall: Sprouts from Specialty Farms linked to Listeria affects six states

"Do you eat alfalfa sprouts? Another sprout recall has been announced, this time from Specialty Farms. Some recalled sprouts have recently tested positive for Listeria Monocytogenes.

These recalled sprouts were sold and distributed in stores in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and Pennsylvania. They were sold in 4 ounce plastic containers with a "sell by date of 7/26/2010". Consumers should check packaging for the names Organic Alfalfa Sprouts Blend and upc number 8192400108 or Organic Sprout Salad with the upc number 8192400024. No other Specialty Farms products are involved in this recall."
