Discovery Network to Launch Green Channel

"The first cable channel dedicated to 24-hour coverage of eco-friendly, green issues is set to launch in early June.
Planet Green will replace Discovery Home on the Discovery Network roster with a selection of brand new programming featuring some famous faces.
Among the new shows: "Emeril Green," an exploration of organic foods with New Orleans chef Emeril Legasse, and "Battleground Earth," featuring Ludacris and Mötley Crüe's Tommy Lee battling it out in a series of green-themed challenges.
The channel will join a number of other cable programs geared toward living healthy eco-lifestyles."
