USDA Promotes Organics in Taiwan

"The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Foreign Agricultural Service today announced that it will host a U.S. Foods Pavilion June 18-21, 2008, at Food Taipei in Taiwan.

Food Taipei is one of Asia’s largest and most important trade venues for the food and beverages industry. Last year’s show welcomed more than 26,000 trade visitors, and 60 U.S. exhibitors, who projected $104 million in sales over the next 12 months as a result of the show.

Taiwan is the United States’ sixth largest export market for agricultural, fish and forestry products, which totaled more than $3 billion in fiscal year 2007."
