Whole Foods Contributes $2.7 Million to Haiti Recovery

"Whole Foods Market Inc.’s customers and employees as well as the Austin-based grocer’s Whole Planet Foundation have donated a total of $2.7 million to relief and rebuilding efforts in earthquake-ravaged Haiti.

In just two weeks, customers at 289 Whole Foods stores in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom donated nearly $1.7 million to a variety of relief organizations, including Action Against Hunger, the American Red Cross, AmeriCares, Doctors Without Borders, Food for the Poor and Partners in Health."
