The Family Farmed EXPO was a three day gathering that had approximately 3-5 thousand attendees and over 120 exhibitors. Apple Rush Co., Inc. was able to showcase its all natural organic juices, as well as, sponsor several events throughout the weekend of festivities, lectures and workshops. The growth of farmers' markets, many of them represented at the Family Farmed EXPO has increased tremendously, rising 260 percent over the past 14 years, according to the USDA. Organic farming has become more popular since federal standards became a law in early 2002. The U.S. organic market has reached a value of over $35.7 billion and is projected to increase 27 percent annually."
